Good rain, Bad rain

I'll be honest, when it started raining in Chicago last night, I wasn't terribly disappointed.  Sure I was enjoying the game, but at that point (2.30am here) I had been up for nearly 23 hours, having foolishly gotten up at 4am Sunday morning to watch the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix.  So I made a quick choice, and decided that sleep would probably be good for me.  So I've been watching the rest of the White Sox - Indians opener this morning.  And I'm so glad that the season's started again!

And, Kudos to all those fans who sat through a 3 hour rain delay at US Cellular field, and stayed to the end past 1am Chicago time.  Thats dedication!

Bad rain, on the other hand, is the sort that I see is forecast for Baltimore this afternoon.  Seeing as the game is an afternoon game (8pm start here) its one of the few that I get to watch live at a normal hour of the day, and I shall be most disappointed if it gets rained out - even more so as its the Rays' opener.  But a 90% chance of rain does not sound promising at all!

I've got my fingers crossed anyway though, because I'm just desperate to see the Rays get their season underway.
